What is the Navigo Découverte card?
The Navigo Découverte travel card includes a case, an ID card, and a chip card onto which you can load your Navigo Day Pass (Navigo Jour), your Navigo Week Pass (Navigo Semaine) or Navigo Month Pass (Navigo Mois), which gives you unlimited travel in the zones you choose. You need all of these things together to use this fare.
It's available to everyone, right away and with no paperwork.

Before you use the card, you need to write your name on the attached ID card, and attach a photo. Your Navigo Découverte card is only for your own personal use, and can't be used by anyone else.

How much is the Navigo Découverte card?
The Navigo Découverte card costs €5 plus the fares that you choose to buy with it.
- If it's lost, stolen, or damaged, though, it won't be refunded or replaced. Any passes you have purchased will not be reinstated.
- Your Navigo Découverte card is valid for 10 years: keep it for your next trip, you may buy as many fares with it as you want!
Where to buy a Navigo Découverte card?
To get your Navigo Découverte card, you can either go to an SNCF Transilien, OPTILE, or RATP sales office, or to one of the "comptoir-club" offices in Paris or in the Paris region, where you can get it right away.
