Tickets
Cardboard tickets, such as T+ and Origin-Destination tickets, are still sold today, but their gradual disappearance in favour of ticketing alternatives began in 2023 and will be accentuated with the roll-out of the new fare range in 2025.

Your cardboard tickets will remain valid and usable.
This transition, embodied by the roll-out of the fare revolution, highlights ticketing solutions such as Métro-Train-RER Tickets and Bus-Tram Tickets that can be loaded on a Navigo Easy pass or a smartphone.
Although cardboard tickets will be phased out by the end of 2025, they will still be available at certain stations where ticketing alternatives are not yet available, or to issue tickets outside the Ile-de-France region that are not yet available in paperless form.
The aim of this change is to modernise the Île-de-France transport network, simplify travel for passengers and reduce the environmental impact of using paper tickets.
