55 hectares to relax

In the Pont-de-Flandre district, 33 hectares are dedicated to nature, along the Ourcq river, which crosses the park, and gardens with thematic themes each more remarkable than the other: the garden of mirrors, those of the islands, bamboos, dunes and winds or that of children's frights, etc. In fine weather, a nautical base invites you to practice canoeing and pedal boating.

Suffice to say that you can spend hours at La Villette without getting bored and then, in summer, extend the evening with an outdoor cinema session. The entire park, in the center of which sits La Bicyclette tombée, a monumental sculpture, is also dotted with "Folies", small red buildings fulfilling various functions. The one located closest to Porte de Pantin is dedicated to visitor information and ticketing.
