Single T+ tickets will not disappear immediately. They will be gradually replaced by alternative ticketing solutions.
The first step is to stop selling cardboard books of magnetic T+ tickets at ticket machines from October 2022 in fifty Transilien stations in the Île-de-France region.
To prepare and anticipate this, three alternative solutions are available to you:
- the Navigo Liberté + service, which allows you to travel freely within the scope of the Ticket T+ and pay for your journeys the following month.
- the contactless Ticket T+, which you load onto a Navigo Easy pass (sold for €2 at the ticket office)
- the contactless T+ ticket that you buy on your NFC smartphone via the purchase service offered by the Île-de-France Mobilités, SNCF, RATP and Transdev applications. You can also buy contactless T+ tickets on your smartphone and load them onto your Navigo Easy pass by affixing it to the back of your phone. To find out more, see the "Travel with your smartphone" page.
To find out more about the end of cardboard T+ tickets and their alternatives, go to the dedicated page - The cardboard T+ ticket book is over.
GOOD TO KNOW: the contactless T+ booklet is cheaper than the cardboard version. As soon as you buy your first booklet, your Navigo Easy pass for €2 is amortized.
