National Domain of Saint-Cloud
This French-style park, designed by André Le Nôtre, is a place for relaxation and exploration in a historically listed estate. Saint-Cloud welcomes you for visits and workshops.
Stroll through a remarkable garden
The Domaine National de Saint-Cloud is considered to be one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe, and is listed as a "Remarkable Garden". A stroll through this French-style garden designed by André Le Nôtre is a perfect way to amble and discover nature.
The gardens, with their geometrical axes, are organised starting from the château's now-vanished terrace. After the French-style park, water fountains extend to the "Bassin de la Grande gerbe", the "Terrasse de l’orangerie", and the "Petit parc". This 1136-acre site is also home to the Pavillon de Breteuil - and the famous standard metre! There's also an educational farm, the "Ferme du Piqueur". Get a great view of Paris from the vantage point known as "La Lanterne".
On Wednesdays and during school holidays, there are activities for families, including various workshops focusing on nature, cooking, gardening, and more. Children can learn how to identify plants, make an herbarium, feed birds, or they can explore the remains of the lost château.
